I Have a Dream!
My Job is boring! I haven’t thought about what I am going to do each day in probably the last 4 years. Because of this, I often have wandering thoughts, thoughts that I like to call dreams. These dreams vary from solving world peace to how I would survive the coming zombie apocalypse. Often I’m inspired by current events or my endless game of linking random thoughts together for fun. I thought I would share some of my favorite dreams with you and by favorite, I mean the ones that were crazy enough that I remembered them.
I dream that there will come a day (soon) when everyone stops looking at Fergie as a sex symbol. Miley Cyrus with her transgender pre-op man voice is way hotter than Fergi. I just don’t get this one.
I dream that Prince will one day give up his Jehovahness and start to make sweet sweet music again. He’s gotta know that he is not going to be part of the 144,000 or whatever that number is that they always tell me through my door. I think Prince is just cheap and does this so he doesn’t have to buy any more gifts for the people in his life. Well played, Prince, well played!
I dream that I will have a shirt that says “It’s a shirt Sherlock”. This came about because I currently have a shirt that says “PANTS” If you don’t know what this means, I won’t explain it to you. Most people don’t, which is why I wear the shirt to work all the time. PANTS!
I dream that there will come a day that the mommy van will no longer be an acceptable car. I hate every time I have to ride with someone in their crap-box-of-concessions. You and I both know that you are going to be sitting on a mixture of Fries, soured milk and kid detritus that will leave a smell on you for the rest of the day.
I dream that one day people will stop using stupid contractions like doesn’t and you’re. You’re only saving yourself 2 key strokes or doesn’t that matter?
So there you go, a look into my mind grapes. Deep, aren’t they? I hope that I have inspired you to dream a little dream at work today too.
