The following are excerpts from a real text conversation that involved a fellow co-worker and myself. (typed exactly letter for letter)
Me: R u working?
Her: no bereavement day for me
Me: Was I supposed to go in early?? Pls say no.
Her: haha i dnt knw i called ystrday and told dem i was taking beravement today & 2mrw nobody called u
Me: No they didn’t. It’s fine. …Couldn’t remember if I had wrote it in. (re: to go in early and cover her shift)
Her: ……nobody knw i was taking bereavement it was a planned death lol…..
Me: Planned death??? Lol. Ok. …….
Her: i meant it wasn’t a planned death omg lol
Me: Lol! I was gonna say…I don’t have bail $ for u. Lol……
Her: i might go bak 2mrw i dnt knw service r in da morning….haha at least ur heart was in da rite place abt my bail lol…
Me: Lol!! Too funny.
I’m glad we got that straightened out. I didn’t want to be an accomplice especially to something of that nature.
